Empowering young women through education and opportunity.

A nonprofit organization based in Norfolk, Nebraska, Miss Nebraska Volunteer is a statewide, service-oriented scholarship program seeking to empower young women through education and opportunity. Our organization is determined to become one of the top providers of scholarships for young women in the state of Nebraska. The Miss Nebraska Volunteer Pageant Organization will ensure Scholarships are received, Education is pursued, Responsibility is learned, Volunteerism is fulfilled, and as a result, the young women of Nebraska are Empowered.

Executive Director

Sandy Wolfe

Sandy is Broker and Co-Owner of Rely Real Estate. She is the President of the Norfolk Public Schools Board of Education where she has served for the past nine years. She volunteers as a Mentor for Teammates, is the secretary serving on the Board of Directors for NeighborWorks, Northeast Nebraska and is President Elect for Norfolk Board of Realtors. Sandy was past President of UNL Parents Association and past Co-Chair of the Red Ribbon Run, past President of PEO, Chapter CU and wish granter for Make A Wish. Sandy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University and is blessed to be married to Jay for 40+ years, has 3 beautiful children plus three amazing spouses who gave us 7 precious grandchildren.

Christin Lutt

Prior to her return to Wayne, Christin served in leadership roles in Human Resources and volunteer recruitment for United Way. Christin graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology and counseling and an Master of Science Degree in Social Psychology. She has volunteered with Hospice, been a member of Kiwanis and PEO. For the past few years she has been a trustee and steering committee member for Wayne State College and board member for Wayne High Foundation. She and her husband Rod reside in Wayne, Ne and oversee several local businesses. In her free time she loves to travel to Wyoming and Arkansas to visit her children attending school.

Lindsay Schellpeper

Lindsay is a managing partner and financial advisor with Sundance Investments. Volunteering has always been a major part of Lindsay’s life. In college she spent countless hours helping her sorority raise funds for arthritis research. Post college, she gave back to her sorority and spent four years on the alumni board focusing on new member education. Lindsay spent three years on the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Foundation Board in Lincoln, Nebraska, helping to enhance the Lincoln community by raising money to enhance and renovate the Lincoln parks and trail systems. One of Lindsay’s most rewarding volunteer experiences was helping with the Special Olympics Track and Field event. She spent time volunteering for Girls on the Run, a nonprofit focused on strengthening the confidence of young girls. Lindsay is a former member of Women in Insurance and Financial Services; a nonprofit devoted to advancing career opportunities, providing professional development and representing women’s interests in a male-dominated industry.

Currently, Lindsay is a member of PEO, Chapter CU. She is a Norfolk Public Schools Foundation Board Member and a committee member for the Faith Regional Foundation Board annual gala fundraiser. Lindsay also heads the Salvation Army annual pajama drive, collecting and raising money for children’s pajamas. Lindsay has a passion for helping others. Outside of work and volunteering she can be found with her husband, Cory, watching their son, Kason, play basketball. She also loves their dogs: Bateman, Lucky, All Star, and Osa.

Camy Leathers

Camy is a Real Estate Broker/Agent at Rely Real Estate. Throughout her career Camy has volunteered with several organizations- Women Embracing Business (board member and Past President) Battle Creek Betterment Club (board member and Treasure) and Norfolk Board of Realtors (board member and Past President). Camy currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Norfolk Area Visitors Bureau as the Chairman of the board, and most recently a Volunteer and Board of Director for the Miss Nebraska Volunteer. Camy’s greatest joy of volunteering is meeting so many different people, strengthening her ties to her community, and helping make a difference in the lives of others.

The next Miss Nebraska Volunteer Nebraska will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk, Nebraska. The interview and dress rehearsal will be held Friday, October 21st, 2022.
